A big thank you card

I was asked to make a big thank you card for lots of folk to sign, and it needed to be bright as the recipient is colour blind and can only see bright colours. I made this 8" x 8” card, using WRMK papers. The large letters are hand drawn and cut, and the small, black letters are Sizzlet Girls are Weird. The large letters were stuck down using Pinflair to give dimension, and overlapped for a bit of interest.

The words inside are ' ...from all of us'

Teacher chalkboard thank you card

I was asked to make three of these cards, for my friend's daughters to give to their teachers.

I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on to black matte paper, then added a few swirls of white chalk ink to look like chalk dust on the board. The frame is a Sizzix die that came with my Big Kick many moons ago. It is an original die, so cuts through chipboard with ease and has been quite handy over the years. The front of the card was covered with Papermania Happy Days paper, with a tiny message and the Just for You on the inside cut from the tickets paper in the pad. The green maths paper came from a Quirky Kits Lite kit. The bunting die is by Memory Box. The apple die cut is a free cutting file kindly provided on UK Scrappers by Tina (Silverst170).

I designed the clipboard using Robomaster and cut it with my Craft Robo.

Birthday card for a lady who's Born to Shop

I made this card with Born to Shop papers and stamps, adding a bit of doodling around the edges.

Baby boy card

This is a variation of a card I have done before, brought about as I smudged some ink on the right hand side of the card and needed to hide my mistake! I used the Cuttlebug Baby Words embossing folder and Sizzix stars.

White Stuff postcard competition

Well, I didn't win the holiday, but I was one of the finalists in the White Stuff postcard competition. You can see the winner, and the other finalists here on White Stuff's blog.

You needed to send in a postcard of a favourite summer memory, and I wrote about and scrapped a postcard of last year's camping trip, our first in our lovely campervan, Toyah. As I love White Stuff labels, I have a few hoarded away, and was able to utilise one on the postcard.

Here's a photo of the postcard with the front photo and the White Stuff tag showing.

And here it is with top photo raised. Sorry for the fuzzy focussing.
